Terms of Service

Last updated October 25, 2026

These Terms of Service (the “Terms”) apply to your access to and use of Unflagify, including its website, writing tools, and paid plans (the “Service”). “Unflagify,” “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to the operator of the Service. By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy notice. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. The Service and AI output

The Service uses automated systems to transform text you submit and provide rewritten text. Output can be inaccurate, incomplete, or unsuitable for your intended use. You are responsible for reviewing and editing output and checking facts, meaning, attribution, and applicable rules before relying on or sharing it. We do not promise that output will be original, undetectable by an AI detector, accepted by a school, employer, publisher, or platform, or fit for a particular purpose.

The Service is a writing aid, not legal, medical, financial, academic-integrity, or other professional advice. Do not rely on it as a substitute for qualified professional judgment.

2. Eligibility and your account

You must be legally able to enter into a binding agreement where you live. If you are under the age at which you may consent to online services in your jurisdiction, you may use the Service only with the involvement and permission of a parent or legal guardian, where allowed by law. You are responsible for providing accurate account information, protecting your sign-in credentials, and activity under your account. Tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorized access.

3. Your text and acceptable use

As between you and us, you keep your rights in text you submit. Rights in generated results may depend on applicable law and third-party rights, and we do not promise that any result is unique. You give us permission to process, transmit, and store submitted text and results as reasonably needed to operate and secure the Service, provide your account history, and process your requests through service providers. Our Privacy notice explains how information is handled.

Submit only content you have the right to use and share with the Service and its processing providers. Do not submit confidential information or sensitive personal data unless you are authorized to do so and accept the risks. You may not use the Service to break the law, violate another person’s rights, deceive or harm others, distribute malware, interfere with the Service, bypass usage or security controls, or probe or access accounts or systems without authorization. You may not use bots or other automated means to access the Service except through an interface we provide or authorize.

4. Free access, plans, and word credits

Guest access supports unlimited free Basic rewrites without signing in, with 100–500 words per request. Every account type requires at least 100 words per request. Signed-in free accounts have the same unlimited Basic rewrites and 100–500 words per request, with no total word allowance. Paid plans are monthly subscriptions. Basic and Ultra share the paid plan allowance; neither mode is unlimited on paid plans. Input words are counted once per rewrite, including all three Ultra passes. Plus supports up to 750 words per request and Pro up to 1,000. The current plan allowances are Plus ($9.99 for 20,000 words per billing period) and Pro ($19.99 for 100,000 words per billing period). The applicable price, currency, features, per-request limits, and available modes are shown on the pricing page and at checkout before you purchase. We may change the plans or prices prospectively; a price change does not change the price of a billing period already paid for.

Word credits are usage limits for the Service, not money, stored value, or transferable property. Monthly allowance and usage reset after Stripe confirms payment for a renewal or an immediate upgrade. Unused words do not roll over. If a renewal or upgrade payment fails, the allowance is not reset and paid access may be limited until the payment issue is resolved.

5. Billing, upgrades, and downgrades

By purchasing a paid plan, you authorize recurring charges at the price shown at checkout, plus applicable taxes, until you cancel. Payments are processed by Stripe and are also subject to Stripe’s terms. Keep your payment information current.

An upgrade starts a new billing period immediately and charges the full price of the selected plan, plus applicable taxes, without a prorated credit for the unused time on the prior plan. After Stripe confirms payment, the new plan’s full word allowance applies, usage resets to zero, and the next renewal date is one billing period from the upgrade. If payment confirmation is required or payment fails, the prior plan and its remaining words stay active until the upgrade payment succeeds.

A downgrade is scheduled for the end of the current billing period. Until then, your current plan, word allowance, and remaining period continue. At the next successful renewal, the lower plan starts and its new monthly allowance applies. Selecting your current plan before the scheduled date cancels a pending downgrade. The exact available plans and timing are shown in your account.

6. Cancellation and refunds

You can cancel from your account or billing settings. Cancellation stops the next renewal; your paid plan and remaining words continue through the end of the period already paid for. After that period ends, paid features end and any available free account limits apply. Unused words expire at the end of the paid period.

Except where required by law or to correct a billing error, payments are not refundable and we do not provide cash refunds for unused words or partial periods. A plan change, including a scheduled downgrade, does not itself create a refund for the current period. Contact support promptly if you believe you were charged incorrectly.

7. Service changes, suspension, and termination

We may update, suspend, or discontinue parts of the Service, including to maintain security, address misuse, or respond to technical or legal requirements. Where permitted by law, we may suspend or end access if you materially violate these Terms, create a security risk, or use the Service unlawfully. You may stop using the Service at any time and may request account deletion by contacting support. Account and content handling is described in the Privacy notice.

8. Ownership and intellectual property

We and our licensors retain rights in the Service, including its software, design, and branding. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service for personal or business purposes in accordance with these Terms while your account is in good standing. These Terms do not transfer ownership of the Service or your submitted text to either party. AI-generated results may not be unique, and we make no representation that you will have exclusive rights to them.

9. Third-party services

The Service depends on third-party providers, including hosting, authentication, payment, and AI processing providers. Their services may be subject to separate terms and may occasionally be unavailable. We are not responsible for third-party services that we do not control. Our Privacy notice describes providers involved in processing information.

10. Disclaimers and liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, the Service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or meet your requirements. Nothing in these Terms excludes a warranty or consumer right that cannot lawfully be excluded.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive losses, or for loss of profits, data, goodwill, or business opportunities, arising from or related to use of the Service. To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability for claims related to the Service or these Terms will not exceed the amount you paid us for the Service during the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim. These limits do not apply where prohibited by law or to liability that cannot legally be limited.

11. Changes to these Terms

We may revise these Terms as the Service or applicable requirements change. We will update the date at the top when we do. If advance notice or consent is required by law for a change that materially affects paid subscribers, we will provide it as required. Your continued use after revised Terms take effect means you accept them where permitted by law. If you do not agree, stop using the Service and cancel any subscription before its next renewal.

12. General terms

These Terms and the Privacy notice are the agreement between you and us concerning the Service, subject to any additional terms presented for a particular feature or purchase. If a provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue to apply. A delay in enforcing a provision is not a waiver. You may not transfer your rights under these Terms without our consent; we may transfer them as part of a business reorganization or transfer of the Service, subject to applicable law. These Terms do not limit rights you have under mandatory local law.
